A lovely self-contained property set in beautiful countryside offering peace and quiet. It's got everything you need for your stay including a nice outdoor area, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen and dedicated parking space. Rosemary and Terry were so welcoming and helpful, I felt right at home and would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely location, very close to many attractions, the coast is a 30 minute walk away, we also walked along a bridle path to Durdle Dor, took just over an hour, but we like to look at the scenery and take our time. The cottage was very comfortable,  and in a very quite location. Rosemary was very helpful, and gave us some good ideas where to visit.

Rex Officio was very comfortable for our stay. Well equipped with a comfy bed. Convenient for local shop and pub. Would definitely stay again

Very comfortable and spacious with views to the surrounding ridge and village.  Close to Lulworth and the other areas we wanted to visit.  Lovely walk to the coast from the front door and the pub is five minutes walk away.  Rosemary and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Would happily stay again.

Rex Officio & Chaldon Herring is an exceptional place. Located in a quiet village yet no more than 30-minute drive from areas of exceptional beauty & history. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Rosemary's! She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The bed is huge and very comfy! The annex was very clean and had everything we needed! We had a slight issue with the gas (it just needed changing) and they responded in under 10 minutes! We would definitely recommend it!
